How this all started
Steve Sabo of the Orange Truk & Juan Gonzalez of Wholly Frijoles met when Juan began building his first food truck (he actually has 2). They became fast friends & bonded over their similar backgrounds & love of creating fresh & unique dishes.
Steve is first generation Italian & Juan was born & raised in Mexico City. Their respective cultures have greatly shaped & influenced their cooking styles. Both have worked extensively in Southern California among other food influencing locations.
They use only the freshest ingredients & try to buy locally as often as possible. Seafood is flown in fresh every week when available & only Certified Angus Beef is used. Scratch cooking only here!
